    • Bernard Brennan, Ph.D. is an  evolutionary biologist turned farmer, owner of Amethyst Farm in  Amherst.     • Tina Clarke is a Certified  Transition Trainer and has worked with over 100 Transition Initiatives in the U.S. and Canada.  She has been a trainer,  consultant, advocate, and director of nonprofit programs for 27 years. Tina Clarke

    • John Gerber is professor of Sustainable  Food and Farming in the UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture.  He has served on the Amherst Conservation Commission and the board of the North  Amherst Community Farm.  He is active in promoting local food production. John Gerber

    • Michelle Parrish is an educator,  fiber artist, and gardener based in Amherst. She teaches at the Common  School, and has taught in arts- and farm-based summer programs around  the valley. Michelle is a working member at the Shelburne Arts Co-op in Shelburne Falls.  Michelle Parrish

    • Emily Stephens is the manager of  the Amherst Farmers Market this summer.  She is a student at the  University of Massachusetts and a graduate of Northfield Mt. Hermon School.  Emily Stephens

    • John R. White has an MBA focused on Sustainable Development; he managed a food coop market in Sacramento, CA, and organized the Berkshire Coop Market in Gt. Barrington, MA, when working as a Community Organizer.  He has also established three other small  businesses. John R. White
